Wildwood Church has selected Albritton Williams, Inc. as general contractor for our relocation project. Wildwood Church partnered with Albritton Williams in 1999 when Albritton Williams, Inc. was selected to construct Wildwood Church’s new Sanctuary and Children/Student Center building. In June, 2001, on schedule and under budget, Wildwood’s Children’s Ministry moved into MainStreet, which occupies the first floor of the Children/Student Center building and their middle school and high school ministry took over the second floor. Two months later in August, 2001 Wildwood held their first worship services in its new 700 seat worship center. This successful past experience and relationship provided us the confidence to embark on this new venture with the same team.
Albritton Williams, Inc. Background:
A.D. Albritton and J.F. Williams formed Albritton Williams as a partnership in Quincy, Florida in 1928. The company began as a residential and light commercial builder. In the 30’s, the company expanded by opening an office in the Tallahassee area.
The Tallahassee office, known as ‘Albritton Williams of Tallahassee’, was incorporated as Albritton Williams, Inc. in 1949. Upon the retirement of Mr. Albritton in 1957, Edwin Chason and his brother, Thad J. Chason, purchased the majority interest of the corporation. It has remained in the Chason family since that time.
Since inception, Albritton Williams has achieved a reputation for quality construction. This reputation was initially noted as Mr. Albritton was recognized for the personal attention he gave to each project. This foundation, based on Judeo-Christian principles and ethics, was further solidified under the direction of Edwin & Thad Chason.
Today, Jack, Jim & John, Thad Chason’s sons, are pleased to continue the tradition of those who preceded them. We are blessed to be part of a company with a firm foundation of biblical principles Our entire staff is committed to carrying on these principles by continuing to focus on quality, integrity and personal attention.

In 1998 Albritton Williams completed the Capital Medical Health Project, a $6,000,000.00 medical office building. Upon completion the Florida Chapter of the American Institute of Architects recognized Albritton Williams, Inc. as “Builder of the Year". This award recognized our outstanding workmanship and craftsmanship, trademarks that are emphasized on each of our projects.
