Nicaragua Celebration Lunch

We extend an invitation to our faith family, our supporters, friends and those simply with an interest in what God is doing in Nicaragua to join us on Sunday, September 13 at 12:30p in the Fellowship Hall for a post-mission celebration lunch.  Our teams are excited to share with you what God did in our hearts and through our lives on this year’s mission.  This was our High School Ministry’s sixth consecutive mission trip to Nicaragua.  Our team has partnered with Mike & Sue Buzbee, who are the founding missionaries of the Open Hearts Ministry in Nicaragua.  They have an incredible ministry throughout Nicaragua of ministering to the poor, rehabilitating families, a nourishment program for children; two rescue homes (one for boys and one for girls), working in the dump & a school in the dump and even ministry to indigenous tribes.  It was awesome to see and share in the work God is doing through their ministry!  This year was our second year in sending two high school teams to Nicaragua – one construction team and one camp team.  Please join us on Sunday, September 13 to celebrate what God has done!
